The Waqf Bill has been passed in both houses of Parliament after intense debate. In the Lok Sabha, 288 MPs approved the bill, while in the Rajya Sabha, 128 MPs voted in favour and 95 against. Opposition parties have voiced concerns, claiming it infringes on minority rights. BJP President J.P. Nadda accused the opposition of spreading misinformation and creating fear among Muslims.
