After 4 years in jail, man's bail plea in rape case of minor rejected
Sajid Barkat Khan, 25, a Haryana man, was charged with raping a 13-year-old girl. He was incarcerated for over four years in the pre-trial stage.

Sajid Khan is an Indian film director, television presenter, comedian, and actor who was born on November 23, 1970. Brother to Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan, Sajid Khan is known for his Housefull film series, Heyy Babyy (2007), Himmatwala (2013), Humshakals (2014), and more.
He completed his primary education at Maneckji Cooper School in Mumbai and graduated from Mithibai College. He started DJing at various parties and social events at the age of 16.
Sajid Khan started his career as a host of the TV show Main Bhi Detective in 1995. He played triple roles in Kehne Mein Kya Harz Hai from 1997 to 2001.
He also acted in the movie Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate (1998) starring Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. He also made a brief appearance in Main Hoon Na (2004), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), and Happy New Year (2014).
He also did a stand-up comedy show, Sajid No. 1 in the late 1990s. His next show was Super Sale in 2005.
Sajid Khan also judged Nach Baliye Season 5, Nach Baliye Season 6 and India's Got Talent Season 2.
He made his directorial debut with the movie Darna Zaroori Hai in 2006.
In 2019, he was accused of sexual harassment during the Me Too movement. Women who have accused Khan of sexual harassment include Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra, Rachel White, Simran Suri, Marina Kuwar, Aahana Kumra, Dimple Paula, Sherlyn Chopra, and journalist Karishma Upadhyay. Though he denied the allegations, Sajid Khan stepped down as the director of Housefull 4 in 2019.
The BBC television documentary Death in Bollywood (2021), which covers the suicide of Indian actress Jiah Khan, also included accusations of harassment against Sajid Khan on Jiah by her sister Karishma Khan.
In 2022, he participated in Bigg Boss 16.
On the personal front, Sajid Khan was in a relationship with actor Jazqueline Fernandez for two years. The two ended their relationship in 2013.

A recent interview of Jiah Khan’s sister talking about how the ‘Ghajini’ actress faced sexual harassment from Sajid has gone viral on social media. Jiah’s sister Karishma Khan accused Sajid of taking advantage of her sister during the shooting of Housefull movie. Soon after the video went viral, several others came forward and accused Sajid Khan of inappropriate behaviour. This isn’t the first time though that Sajid has been accused of sexual harassment. Last year, the hashtag ArrestSajidKhan trended on Twitter after Indian model Paula claimed that Khan tried to touch her inappropriately. He had also asked her to strip before him during an audition for a film, she claimed. Sajid’s name has been out and about ever since he was called out in 2018 during the Me Too movement.
